Instagram Data Deletion
If you have connected your Instagram account to our website and want to delete your data, please follow the instructions below.
What Data We Collect
When you connect your Instagram account, we only access:
- Public Posts: Your public Instagram posts to display on our Instagram wall
- Basic Profile Information: Username and profile details for display purposes
- No Personal Data: We do not access private messages, email, or personal information
How to Delete Your Data
Option 1: Revoke App Permissions (Recommended)
- Go to your Instagram account settings
- Navigate to "Privacy and Security" → "Apps and Websites"
- Find "Tikka Theory" in your authorized apps
- Click "Remove" to revoke all permissions
This will immediately stop us from accessing any of your Instagram data.
Option 2: Contact Us Directly
If you need assistance or want to ensure complete data removal, contact us:

Subject: "Instagram Data Deletion Request"
Include: Your Instagram username and confirmation that you want all data deleted
What Happens After Deletion
- We will immediately stop accessing your Instagram account
- Any cached Instagram posts will be removed from our servers
- Your posts will no longer appear on our Instagram wall
- We will send you a confirmation email within 48 hours
Important Notes
- This only affects Instagram data connected to our website
- Your Instagram account and posts remain unchanged
- Order history and customer data are separate and unaffected
- You can reconnect your Instagram at any time
Data Retention Policy
We do not permanently store Instagram data. All Instagram content is fetched in real-time and cached temporarily (10 minutes) for performance. When you revoke permissions or request deletion, any cached data is immediately purged.
Response Time: We will process all data deletion requests within 48 hours.
